I Tried reqeusting for sBTC through the Discord faucet channel for a second time after a week but it says my request was too frequent

You can also try using the Signet Faucet, it worked just fine for me

I would humbly request that this testnet activity is now redundant because they already have concluded the activity by awarding the BTC Pioneer Passes. and it was in February 2024. I am one of the pass holders. Now there are no more rewards for the testing. Be active on their discord for further instructions and opportunities
